About:
Six different artists from different places(such as United States, Finland, and several cities in the Netherlands) were invited by Sign Groningen to come and work together for 6 weeks.
All works were made within the period of the residency. Many works were made through collaborations that naturally occured among two, three or all the artists, and some were made as individual works by each artist.
The main driving thread of the residency was Videokaffe’s ‘Screen Breach’ events, where two remote spaces were connected via live projections, sharing a wall.
The residency resulted in two shows, one during the residency and one as the finissage.
