This performance uses data gathered from migrating birds to produce sound and images.
The visuals are generated from a list of Youtube videos searched by placenames along the migration route of a common cuckoo with tracker number 62395.
The cuckoo flies about 20,000km from South Korea to Botswana and back every year. The environmental data of the migration route controls the wind harps named ‘Aeolian Eggs’.
The performance is a tribute to the wild birds going on wild journeys, and the diverse nature and culture living in these long trails.
